The F430 Challenge is a competition car built by Ferrari since 2007. The model is based on a standard production car, the F430. The most common aspect is the engine of the latter, that is to say a V8 with 4.3 Liters of displacement. The engine is central with rear-wheel drive. The transmission has a six-speed sequential gearbox with controls behind the F1-type steering wheel. It was introduced in 2005 at the Frankfurt Motor Show to compete in the Ferrari Challenge championships, replacing 360 Modena in this context starting from 2007.
